Vulcan To The Sky Appeal - GB0VUL
The on-line logbook is here
The VTTS website is here
The Newbury & District Amateur Radio Society (G5XV) originally activated the call GB0VUL from Greenham Common, Newbury in May 2009.
In March 2010 the call was also used by members to help raise the profile of the fund raising
campaign 'Vulcan to the Sky' which is currently urgently underway to save the last flying Vulcan
Bomber, and keep it flying in years to come.
We do not require your QSL card, but if you would like a card,
search our log and request a card via the Bureau. We
also use eQSL or you can request a direct QSL via
M0JEC
Click here for the appeal video and
here for a video of the Vulcan flying at Kemble in 2009.
Listen to the emotion in the commentators voices towards the end (last 2 mins)
it really shows how much this aircraft will be missed if it cannot be kept flying.
Please also sign the Vulcan's card with your callsign and mention NADARS at:-

GB0VUL will be operated again this year on the 28th and 29th May 2011
